Greetings to all Bakers out there in cyberspace. Just wanted everyone to see our latest creation, as I had some requests. We were asked to make the trailer for the LDS film festival '08. This is what we came up with. It's actually an adaptation of a film theory I created for my film theory class at BYU. Enjoy!
We survived Christmas! We missed Leslie-but remembered her with a totally PURPLE tree that she would have loved.
Leslie's Tree
With a house full of little boys there was never a dull moment especially when Digger the Dog came to visit from the Buckwalters (Amy's family). Maxx was intrigued with the funny noise that came from under Digger's tail.
We hope you all had a merry Christmas and enjoy 2008.
We were so happy to get to spend Thanksgiving up in Utah this year! We had a great time hanging out with the family and catching up. These are just a few of the highlights from the trip.
Issac really enjoyed his turkey dinner!
Brett and Ashley should be so proud!
Gobble, Gobble.
The old stomping grounds.
Eric can now say he has been to Idaho!
Grandpa Dick's birthplace-I can't believe Grandma Baker really gave birth in that house.
This one is just for laughs!
We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend as well. We are so grateful that we could spend our holiday with our family.
Happy fall to everyone! I love this time of year, especially Thanksgiving. Josh and Amy are hosting Thanksgiving for our family this year - so the Parker's and Bendixen's are taking a road trip to Vegas! It will be a blast to have 8 adults and 5 little boys all in one house for a couple of days. This will be our first 6 hour drive and overnight trip with Maxx...I hope we all survive! But we wouldn't miss being with our family for anything. This Thanksgiving will be hard - it's our first one without Les. We miss her very much.
Maxx is now 15 months old - time flies! He is such a character; learning new things every day. His best trick is blowing kisses (not gently, but loud and forceful) and waving bye-bye. He loves rocks and sticks and they usually end up in his mouth. He also seems to enjoy eating dirt and sand. He doesn't even pick it up - he just puts his face right down on the ground and starts eating. What'd ya do? He loves dogs and little kids or babies. He is a tender boy with a gentle heart, but very strong headed and stubborn (just like his dad)!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
